When it comes to intimate hygiene and pubic hair removal, there are a ton of products in the market that cater to women. But seldom do we come across products that are for men.
If you’re thinking about shaving, know that it can be harmful to have your nether regions. According to famous Youtube personality, Dr Mike, shaving down there can cause micro tears and lead to body fluids getting in there, causing infection.
So what can be done about hair around your genital areas. Using mild yet effective hair removal creams for men is a good idea.

Nad’s Hair Removal Cream For Men
If you are looking for a product that allows painless hair removal, my first pick gives you just that!
After using it for 5 minutes, I found it left me with smooth skin without causing any irritation. Another good thing about this depilatory cream is that it does not allow hair growth.
I used it for a few weeks at a stretch (the longevity of the cream varies, but I use it every 3 weeks) and it made my hair strands less thick and coarse.
It’s also a very affordable option. I used this cream not only on my private area but also on my chest area as well.
The best part about this hair removal cream is that it only takes a couple of minutes for it to be effectively removed. It is in fact quickest among all the products I tested out.
My one gripe with this cream is that you can leave it on a long time. In the weeks I used it I accidentally left it on for 10 minutes and boy did it hurt!
I’ve also gotten responses from some of our readers who say the if left on for too long, the crem might cause rashes on very sensitive skin.
So use it if you’re in a hurry, and do not have sensitive skin down there. Otherwise, there are plenty of milder (albeit expensive) options like the Joriole and Acorelle depilatory creams.
Pros
- It’s very effective on thick and coarse hair
- The cream is very affordable as well
- It takes only 3-4 minutes to work effectively
Cons:
- Can cause blisters if left on for too long
Ratings:
- Gentleness – 3.5/5
- Hair Removing Power – 5/5
- Quickness – 4.5/5

Nair Hair Removal Cream For Men
I noticed that whenever I shaved my private area, the fuzziness down increases or at least the hair feels thicker.
So I wanted a cream that would do something about this issue, and that’s when I decided to try Nair.
It’s a very powerful hair removal cream and it is dermatologically tested! So I was already sold due to their famous brand name.
But I have to admit, it’s popular for a reason, the cream worked really well on my skin! In fact, I just needed to keep it on for 5 minutes!
I also didn’t have to a use a lot of the cream as it spreads easily and gives a lot of coverage.
After the hair is removed, it can work really well with keeping your hair growth minimal without having it grow back too thick.
I used this for 4-5 months and I could see my hair becoming less coarse and rough after each use. I also used this cream only once every 15-20 days as the hair didn’t grow back quickly.
I bought the 200g bottle and it suffices for about a month or two when I use it on a regular basis.
The packaging of this hair removal product is comfortable enough for you to use and store it back without leakage.
My one issue? It doesn’t work fast enough. I keep in on for a total of 8 minutes. I don’t have very sensitive skin which makes this fine.
But I do not recommend keeping it for so long if you have very inflammation-prone, sensitive skin.
Pros
- It’s available at a very budget-friendly price
- You don’t need to use a lot of this product, a little goes a long way
- Actually prevents hair from growing back coarser
- Inhibits hair growth so you get plenty of time between applications
Cons:
- It needs to be left on for long to show good results
- Can hurt sensitive skin if left on for too long (see the issue?)
Ratings:
- Gentleness – 3.5/5
- Hair Removing Power – 4.5/5
- Quickness – 3.5/5

Acorelle Natural Hair Removal Cream
I do understand that there are men who have sensitive skin down there and might need something natural and organic to remove the hair while also tending to the skin. So I decided to see if the so called “natural” hair removal creams were worth a go.
One of the first “natural” creams I tried out was Acorelle. And gosh, I was simply blown away by how well it worked!
The hair cream is so gentle and smooth that it did not stick to my skin in any way and also washed off very easily and quickly.
I did have to keep it on for a longer time than I had to use Nair or even Nad’s, but it didn’t hurt my skin in doing so!
I don’t like fragrances in my hair removal cream and after checking the ingredients I found that the fragrance is from a mixture of lemon and chamomile, so the scent here is natural.
Not only did this cream smoothly remove the hair from my private area but it also hydrated the skin. It was a hot day when I used this and I’m grateful it kept things cool down there.
Acorelle is a brand that widely caters to men so they know what they’re doing with this hair removal product.
If I have to complain about one thing, I would complain about it’s price. No way is it as affordable as a drugstore brand like Nair. But hey, I thought it was 100 percent worth the money!
Pros
- It’s absolutely safe for delicate or sensitive skin
- There aren’t any artificial fragrances that can irritate skin further
Cons:
- It’s more expensive than regular depilatory creams
Ratings:
- Gentleness – 4.5/5
- Hair Removing Power – 4.5/5
- Quickness – 4/5

Joriole Hair Removal Cream for Intimate Parts
It’s purely by chance that I stumbled on to this product and I was curious as the brand markets it as a very safe, mild formula for sensitive skin.
When I used it, I noticed it’s slow. Painfully slow! I kept the cream on for a total of 10 minutes, and it wasn’t enough. I had to keep it for 5 minutes more.
But then it did work very well at uprooting the body hair at the end of it. And I was pleasantly suprised to notice there was no odor at all.
And my skin felt very soft after washing it off. I wouldn’t dare keep creams like Nair or Nad’s on for 10 minutes let alone 15! But the Joriole hair removal cream really is very skin-friendly.
I would suggest you go for this cream if you’re new to the manscaping process. And if you have very sensitive skin.
You can even use this cream on your inner thighs and even other areas like chest and underarms. But I don’t suggest doing that.
This cream is very expensive. If I buy another bottle there’s no way I’m using it for my underarms.
I liked the inclusion of ingredients like jojoba oil, aloe vera extract and shea butter in it. You can’t really see these ingredients do their jobs in other, stonger hair removal creams, but this one is actually moisturizing.
Pros:
- For all skin types.
- Gentle to use on intimate areas.
- Removes hair in 10 minutes.
Cons:
- It’s the most expensive of the lot
- You have to wait 15-20 minutes for it to show effect
Ratings:
- Gentleness – 5/5
- Hair Removing Power – 4/5
- Quickness – 2/5

Kuule Depilatory Hair Removal Cream
I was looking for a more permanent solution for my body hair (that didn’t involve the use of lasers) when I came across this cream from Kuule.
It’s supposed to be permanently stop hair from growing back or at least stop growth to a considerable extent. So did it? Absolutely not.
Don’t get me wrong it is a powerful and efficient hair removal cream which works gently on the skin but it’s in no shape or form permanent.
Even Veet does a better job of inhibiting hair growth than this one! I found it at part with Nair when it comes to effectiveness.
But it’s more expensive than Nair, so you should just go for that instead. Yes, it’s a teensy bit milder and gentler than Nair or Veet hair removal creams are, but it’s not worth the price.
It’s not even fast! I had to leave it on for 10 minutes instead of the usual 3-5 minutes like other creams. And unlike Joriole, it isn’t so gentle to justify the long waiting time. A hard no from me!
Pros
- None I could see
Cons:
- The hair grows back very quickly after use
Ratings:
- Gentleness – 4/5
- Hair Removing Power – 4/5
- Quickness – 3/5

Veet For Men Hair Removal Cream
Just when I thought Veet had only hair removal products only for women, I found this one.
I bought it simply for the brand name and on first application knew I had made a mistake.
The truth is, it’s not very effective. I could still see stray hair on my test patch of skin after 6 minutes of keeping it on. There’s no way I was going to use this on my private areas for more than that time, so I ended up keeping it to use on my chest and legs instead.
Honestly, the only good thing I found about this product is that it’s affordable. And a 200ml tube of cream is enough for about 2 months if you have fast hair growth like me.
And it also makes your body hair sparser at every use, so there’s one more win for the Veet cream.
But other than that I can’t see why you should select Veet rather than something more effective in the same price range like the Nads or Nair hair removal creams.
Pros
- It’s more affordable than other “milder” depilatory creams
- It makes hair grow back thinner makes body hair scarce
Cons:
- It’s can be very harsh on sensitive skin
- It’s also not very good at uprooting hair from skin
Ratings:
- Gentleness – 3.5/5
- Hair Removing Power – 4/5
- Quickness – 3.5/5
